Your key is generated on this device and never transmitted. If you choose to keep it here it is encrypted with a passphrase only you know, using AES-GCM over a PBKDF2 key. UnyKorn cannot see it, cannot recover it, and cannot move anything from your account — which is the whole point, and also why the written backup matters.

Issue

A mint is a Payment from the issuing account to a holder who has already opened a trust line. This form builds that movement as an intent and hands it to the control plane; the signature is produced on the key plane, never here.

Bounded by the headroom under the current attestation ceiling. The form refuses anything above it before the control plane is even asked.
Checked against the ledger for a trust line and a sufficient limit before the intent is created.
